THE FUNERAL

I received this story in my email just a few minuets ago and as I read it I was reminded that we all need to read and understand this as it is the very core of the reason(s) we, as Internet Marketer’s, are not as successfull as we could be and this is the core of the reason(s) that newbies have such a hard time creating their own Internet bizzness.
Back when I was a kid the youth of our local church were allowed to conduct the evening services one Sunday evening. The following story is what?the jist of?the service was about.?We?were, of course, using a religious them but it had the same effect or outcome as this story does… Enjoy!
One day all the employees reached the office and they saw a big
sign on the door on which was written:
Yesterday, the person who has been hindering your growth in
this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in
the room that has been prepared in the gym.??
In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of one of
their colleagues, but after a while they started getting
curious to know who was that man who hindered the growth of his
colleagues and the company itself.
The excitement in the gym was such that security agents were
ordered to control the crowd within the room. The more people
reached the coffin, the more the excitement heated up.
Everyone thought: ‘Who is this guy who was hindering my
progress? Well, at least he died!
One by one the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin, and
when they looked inside it, they suddenly became speechless.
They stood nearby the coffin, shocked and in silence, as if
someone had touched the deepest part of their soul. There was
a mirror inside the coffin; everyone who looked inside it could
see himself. There was also a sign next to the mirror that
said: There is only one person who is capable of setting
limits to your growth: IT IS YOU!!!!!
Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your
friends change, when your parents change, when your husband or
wife change, when your company changes, when your church
changes, when your location changes, when your money changes,
when your status changes…
Your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your
limiting beliefs.
Examine yourself, watch yourself. Don’t be afraid of
difficulties, impossibilities and losses. Be a winner, build
yourself and your reality. It’s the way you face Life that
makes the difference.

As?I talk to various people about ideas for them to concider about going into Bizzness for themselves I am continually getting excuses like… “I can’t”, “I don’t want to do ___” or something such as that.
None of them seem to understand that these defeatist words & others like them?are the very things that?are hindering their success & they will continue to be hindered for as long as they keep on choosing to allow themselves to talk to themselves like this.
When I was a child my mom always told us a little story about “Can” & Can’t”. I went like this…
A little boy named “Can’t” was walking down the alley and upon looking into a trash can he saw something that he wanted so he bailed up in there to get it but he got stuck over on his head so he started crying out “I CAN’T GET OUT… I CAN’T GET OUT!!!”
Along came a boy named “Can” and he saw “Can’t” in the trash can crying “I CAN’T GET OUT… I CAN’T GET OUT!!!” so he found a stick and he beat him till he “Could”.
Politically correct??? I don’t know and personally I don’t care as I don’t worship at the shrine of “Politically Correct” but it did convince us boys to quit saying “I Can’t” all of the time.
Before I go and post this entry I will leave you with one more thought to ponder…
Have?you ever read the story of creation in the bible where it says that Adam and Eve found fig leaves and covered up their nakedness because they had sinned and were embarrased because they were naked?
I’m sure most of you are familiar with the story so I will go on…
I understand that the word in Hebrew for Fig leaves means excuses which means that Adam & Eve literaly covered themselves with excuses.
Isn’t that what we (man) are still doing, covering ourselves with excuses.
You can succeed any time you want to if you will only get rid of YOUR excuses!!!
