I received my “Windows Secrets Newsletter • Issue 149 • 2008-04-17” this week and Scott Dunn – associate editor – wrote an article called “Flash ads bearing malware plague popular sites”.

After reading his article I went over to the site he suggested and had my computer scanned and found out that I had five (5) pieces of software which were vulnerable to this situation.

Not only was flash not protected because of not having all of the security updates for it but, also, Java was not updated.

Thing is, I had just updated Java about a week ago.
