I have been looking into some of the social marketing ideas that have been showing up all over the internet, lately.

Actually, these programs have been around for quite a while but I have been to busy with other things to spend much time looking and learning about these things.

Well, everything eventually changes and as hard as it is for people to believe, this even happens to me.

Learning Is Ongoing

Learning is the central thing that must happen if any of us ever want to become better than we are, now. I spend a lot of my time doing this and recently I have discovered that learning happens faster and more completely when I learn and then turn around and teach it to someone else.

This is true whether it is Internet Marketing, driving a truck/car engage in spiritual things, or most anything else you do.

This is the reason I have started actually using my blog and setting up some of these social marketing opportunities.I will talk about which ones I am involved in in another post as this is not the subject I am writing about in this one.

Humans were created to need each other and all of us are extremely important to the success of everyone else around us.

Some have skills in computer technology. Others are skilled in speaking, laboring, listening, programming, marketing, buying, etc., etc., etc.

We all make the world go ’round.

We each consume most or all of them and someone has to provide them in order for us to be able to do that.

One of the services I started using is “Stumble”. It is a very interesting service in that you can set up your interests and then just stumbling around, as it were, you can come across some very interesting resources.

For example… I just stumbles onto a new speaker names Guy Kawasaki.

I was impressed with, both, his stage presence as well as what he talked about.

He discusses the Art of Innovation.

Innovation is the thing that makes everything change.

You, as an Internet Marketer, have a choice to just do what everyone else is doing (which can make you a good bit of money, theoretically) or you can engage in Innovation.

Innovation is something totally different that changes the way we all think and live our lives.

Historical Examples of Innovation.

The car was an innovation… If you lived back in the days when these things were first invented and you wanted to be involved in the market as something other than a consumer then you could have, either, engaged in building wagons, stage coaches, &/or covered wagons which might have made you some money but not for very long. Or you could innovate and engage in building this new invention called the car.

One choice meant that you would only be in business for a few more years but the other meant that you would be involved in an industry that has drove the wagons and stage coaches and the covered wagon builders out of business unless they figured things out in time and changed their bizzness model to building cars.

Innovation to the Internet Marketer is looking for the next great marketing &/or web site building idea which will change the face of Internet Marketing &/or web site building as we know it.

Web 2.0 is one such innovation. Social marketing is another. It is, also, changing the way I work on the Internet. What about you?

Will you start looking for how you can impact the Internet Marketing world & create the next great Innovation product or service or marketing idea that will change the way that we, as Internet Marketers, market & operate our bizznesses online?

Go on over and watch this video by Guy Kawasaki and see what you, too, will learn about the Art of Innovation. You won’t regret it.
